University of Massachusetts Boston – Recycling Program 2/7/06

With campus support the campus recycling program continues to service the community with efficient and comprehensive service. Through the Facilities Department, the cleaning contractor One Source provides assistance in the area of recycling with UMB Green guidance. UMB is constantly trying to improve its customer service sataisfaction and has been recognized for outstanding recycling achievements through the UMB Green department.

All recycling requests for all buildings including the Campus Center can be serviced by the following methods:

	- Contact Customer Service Center (617) 287-4000 – *customer.service@umb.edu* - Contact UMB Green (617) 287-5083 – *umbe.green@umb.edu*

Listed below is the set schedule for these services:
	- One Source has two designated recycling staff that tend to these services. - Campus paper collection rounds occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays during first shift – 7:30am / 3:00pm for the entire campus. - There are no recycling pickups scheduled at night for this program in any office area. - Loading dock areas will be cleared of recycling on a weekly basis (Fridays). In cases of high volumes an additional pickup will occur on Tuesdays – upon notification by Facilities to UMB Green representative the recycling vendor will be contacted. Loading docks will be cleaned up, including Campus Center on a daily basis. - Any updated recycling locations will be provided to Facilities representative by the UMB Green representative for updating the cleaning contractor. - As always your feedback and suggestions are welcome.
